Hi I'm goldfishlaser

Welcome to my personal web site. I am Melanie Allen, 36/f/usa. I have an ecclectic collection of creative pursuits. This site is my home for sharing examples to friends, collaborators, and patrons.

I do a variety of performance art, including aerial silks, prop manipulation, and dance. I create visual art in several mediums, digital and physical. And sometimes digital made physical with 3D Printing. My code interests include HTML5/CSS3, Javascript, Python, OpenSCAD, Processing, Assembly, C/C++.

I'm guess I'm kind just your typical cyber goth suffering through late stage capitalism. This becomes apparent when you consider things I like and my memes. I plan to continuously update this site. so that you learn such things in a more interesting way. I am a fan of demoscene culture, interactive storytelling, and games so I will start building them into the site. We're very "agile" and "work in the open" here.

I'm also gearing up to try and produce some video content on a more regular basis.
